Jacksonville, FL (Boys) is the second episode of Season Three of Beyond Scared Straight.



Summary[]

Six at-risk Florida teens attend a three part scared straight tour. The teens include KeShawn, standing tall at 6'4 got charged with Domestic Violence for attacking his mother. He also leads his younger brother Kevon who gambles and misbehaves in school astray. Both of them see their possible futures at the morgue.

Johnny ,a self-proclaimed racist who sells drugs and shoplifts seems to be going down the same path as his parents who struggle with drugs themselves, he endures the wrath of an African-american pod.

Trey[]

After the program, Trey no longer wanted steal, smoke, drink, fight or run the streets. To avoid trouble, Trey is planning to go to the marines and is taking boxing classes.

Johnny[]

After the jail tour, Though no longer selling dope, Johnny smokes weed, occasionally does pills drinks alcohol and shoplifts. His older sister begs him to change. Latest Update - October 2012: Johnny is still struggling, according to his mother, he fights, gets suspended, and is still smoking marijuana. He was just caught shoplifting from Walmart and had to go to court.

Due to these issues, Johnny is getting sent to Drug Rehab, Johnny doesn't wanna go and insist that he'll change on his own. After completing Drug Rehab, Johnny committed an armed burglary and was detained at juvie for a month. After getting released from juvie, Johnny is trying to complete in-patient drug rehabilitation.

KeShawn[]

After the morgue visit, KeShawn changed his attitude, rather than running away, fighting and gambling KeShawn spends his time with his family, he is also a better role model for Kevon. He now involves himself in church and football coaching.

Unfortunately in July 2017, KeShawn and another man were charged with the murder of a teenage boy.[1]

Kevon[]

Kevon behaves better in school, no longer fights or gambles, plays football and looks up to Kevon.
